Betula Nigra Clump – River Birch
The river birch is a native tree with stunning bark, dark green foliage with pointy leaves that turns yellow in the fall. It can only be pruned in the summer after leaves have fully developed, and can be used as a shade tree that will grow up to 60 feet. It has a spread of 45’, and prefers full sun to partial shade. For best growth potential, plant in average to wet soil.
