This slow-growing evergreen (green velvet) which is grown on a tree stands alone great in a garden. It most often used as a center piece in the garden design. It likes well-drained soil and can also be put in a planter on a patio. Water it medium and it can handle full sun to partial shade. Prune boxwood each year in the spring.
