Teddy Bear Cedar is a hardy bullet-shaped dwarf conifer. It is dense and delicate with thin feathery green-gray branches. It is a slow grower that cannot be pruned. Height extends to 2’ and can be used in a planter on the balcony or indoors. The Teddy Bear Cedar can also be used as a substitute for boxwood hedge, requiring full sun to partial shade. This shrub will thrive in any type of soil as long as it is well drained. Protection (burlap wrap) from drying winter winds is recommended in an exposed location.
